Mission
Be the recognized authority for the development and accreditation of O&P education and residency standards leading to competent patient care in the changing healthcare environment.
Goals
- To take the lead in creating alliances with ABC, AOPA and AAOP for the advancement of the profession and the improvement of patient care.
- To maintain practitioner standards consistent with the changing healthcare.
- Establish a mechanism to enhance the overall residency training process.
- Formally accredit O&P registered associate education pathways/programs.
- To achieve financial independence.
- Develop a "value" theme marketing program to the following segments: residency education, bachelors/certificate education, associate education and technician education.
